Beginner: Must have flat collar and 6 foot leash (No retractables)Lots of small soft treats or a toy if your dog is toy driven
Advanced: Dogs must know the agility equipment and be ready to step up on handling in the course (working on you and your dog as a team). Dog must be able to work off leash in the agility field
Dogs must have had a basic level of obedience training and be at least one year old. Owner must be able to retain control of the dog at all times.
Agility is the sport of running the dog through a prescribed course of obstacles. Agility classes are offered four times a year, in the Spring, two Summer classes, and in the Fall. Pre-Registration and vaccinations are required for all classes. Please complete and submit the request for registration form as soon as possible because class space is limited. Spring Classes 2024
Update: Classes are full. Speedway Drop in practice is still available
AGILITY Classes
Starting April 8th we will start 2 classes. Running 4 weeks.
Mondays
6pm Puppy agility foundation (12 months and under) $55
*Exposing them to different objects and working in a outdoor environment. Examples: table, weaves, jump sanctions, hoops, tunnels, moving boards and most importantly having fun and staying engaged with owner!
7pm Intro to Speedway games <new game each week> $55
* Having fun building confidence and learning foundational skills that will transfer to agility. (we recommend taking this class before entering agility classes)
8pm Open Speedway Drop In practice $12 per person/dog/per week. This is not a teaching class.
